Healthcare System

The healthcare system in this country is public providing all health services to all residents, this also includes prescription medications. With this being said, there does exist private clinics and hospitals that are provided with those residents who have the finances to pay for these services. There has been a shift n Jamaica from communicable to non-communicable chronic conditions and this is due to lifestyle changes and mandates by the government. There has also been an increase focus on community awareness and education
