PRACTICE
A Family Medicine and Clinical Excellence Program was established in 2007 (Juma, 2007). A 5-year medical school program is offered at Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, which remains Tajikistan’s only medical school institution (Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, 2018). No other comprehensive data was found on Tajikistan though an online scope and literature review. The initial literature scope was done to collect data from online sources, such as, medical school websites and the WHO website. The literature review was done to collect data from papers retrieved using Google, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Web of Science. No key informants were obtained to help verify or obtain information.
